Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her role as the character Detective Diane Russell. In addition, she was a part of shows like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Delaney was the sole child of the United Auto Workers executive and his wife, a housewife. Her childhood was spent in a family with four other brothers. As a child, Delaney fantasized of becoming a court reporter. Her modeling career began in high school and then gaining commercial roles when she moved to New York. She starred in 1981 as an innocent teenager in the film All My Children. The career of Delaney has been filled with numerous television films and dramas. Like her career but her personal life hasn't been easy or prosperous. The talented actress has had to deal with alcoholism throughout her life and has been through two marriages that failed.
